Site Manager Location : Working for Warrington office – Role will be site based in and around Greater Manchester – typically working 39 hours per week Monday to Friday As a Site Manager for Novus, you’ll get to see the impact and improvements your role delivers to your customers and team every day – taking your job satisfaction to whole new levels. Whilst ensuring the smooth running of multiple designated sites, ensuring all site personnel carry out their tasks efficiently and effectively to enable the contract to be completed on time, with zero defects, within budget and with no risk to the Health & Safety of their operational team, the Client or the general public. An outline of your responsibility as a Site Manager Manage site teams, work activities and resources to meet the requirements of individual contracts. Manage the selection and formation of site personnel teams (including Sub Contractors) Collate all preconstruction information (packs, asbestos surveys etc). Ensure all necessary contract documentation / reports are accurate and produced on time in conjunction with the Contracts Manager. Identify site hazards and ensure risk assessments and control methods are implemented via the Construction Phase Health Ensure all sites work comply with Legal and Statutory requirements, including Health, Safety and Welfare Assist in the preparation process for estimates, bids and tenders in partnership with the Contracts Manager. Create, manage and report on projects with multiple, live site locations through the use of a master programme. About You The successful Site Manager will be experience in Refurbishments, especially within Healthcare/Education sectors although training will be provided. Familiar with working in a Live environment is a must. Focusing on refurbishment works and general construction including, Smaller projects, board room refurbishment, ward refurbishments, ceiling replacements in communal areas. Managing the delivery through to completion/ handover. You will need to hold a Full UK driving licence to travel to Sites daily. You must hold SMSTS or associated NVQ, as well as being confident with IT and proficient in MS Office.
