Doncaster and Bassetlaw Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is one of Yorkshire’s leading acute trusts, serving a population of more than 440,000 across South Yorkshire, North Nottinghamshire and the surrounding areas.

This post will support the delivery of our Dermatology services at Doncaster and Bassetlaw Teaching Hospitals. You will join a team of 6 Consultants, 5 Specialty Drs and Specialist Nurses to provide Dermatology services across our three main sites.
The successful applicant will be based at Doncaster Royal Infirmary; however, you will be expected to contribute to the delivery and development of Dermatology services across all Trust sites and maintain the highest clinical standards in Dermatological conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide outpatient and minor operative services in Dermatology, including cancer services.
2. Share with colleagues the provision of Dermatology advice to medical and surgical inpatients.
3. Work with colleagues, both medical and nursing, to improve and advance the service.
4. Share with colleagues the responsibility for the management of the Department.
5. Share with colleagues the responsibility for teaching and training of trainees, junior medical staff, nursing staff, and medical students.
6. Ensure active participation in continuing professional development (CPD).
