About the role An exciting opportunity has arisen within our Manufacturing site in Kemsley and we have an opening for an Engineering Planner to join the team and provide direct support for all aspects of our Mechanical Engineering activities within the site operation. The role can be directly associated with the operations teams or within our support function. Responsibilities will include (but not limited) Planning all mechanical work that supports scheduled maintenance programmes, either on the run or for a planned shut. Ensuring all planned activities meet the site standards. Deliver all agreed KPI's for the role Where appropriate support breakdowns. Stand in for Area Engineering managers Lead/ Participate in problem solving activities Develop the CMMS ensuring making sure that all assets are correctly identified and supported by spares and documentation as specified by the criticality process. Plan and execute delivery of all specified Statutory Insurance inspections. Identify and implement cost saving initiatives. Identify cost overruns and communicate Identify equipment obsolescence and ensure plans are in place for timely replacement or recovery options are available for that equipment failure About You Minimum requirements: Time served Apprenticeship or NVQ Level 3. HND or Degree would be an advantage. Maintenance experience in heavy industrial process manufacturing environment. Ideally paper mill maintenance experience, specifically, maintenance in the production of liner and fluting is highly desirable. Experienced in using best practice standards, practices, and processes in precision maintenance.
