This role will be an integral part of service delivery within Primary and Secondary care in Luton. Within the team we have Hospital Liaison Workers, and Entry into Services Workers in both GP surgeries and the Community Mental Health Hubs, so building and maintaining partnerships is a significant part of this role.
You will supervise a team of frontline staff members. You will organise and support with inducting new staff, carry out 1 to 1s, and develop/maintaining partner agency relationships.
This Team Leader role involves working at our Adult Service based on Victoria Street in Luton. Within ResoLUTiONs we have multiple locations across Luton, our two main sites being Castle Street for Young People (up to 25 years old) and Victoria Street for adults. There will be a requirement to work within Primary and Secondary care services, so travelling around Luton should be expected.
Hours: 37.5 per week (full time)
Salary: £34,700.09 - £36,635.38 dependant on experience (based on full time working hours, pro rata for part time hours)
About the role:
Operational line management of a team of staff which includes supervision (with reflective practice), appraisal, performance and sickness management as well as ensuring staff follow CGL and external policies applicable to their roles
Empowering staff to promote hope, empowerment, choices, control, and opportunities that assist service users reaching their full potential as individuals and community members
Ensure that staff are competent in the delivery of interventions that reduce risk to service users
Support staff to improve service user outcomes through observed practice, providing timely values-based feedback
Lead on the recruitment, selection and induction of staff
About you:
Knowledge and experience of developing and leading health and social care services and delivering services which evidence high performance and quality standards
Knowledge of current legislation surrounding children, young people, and safeguarding practice
Able to lead, inspire and develop a team
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and able to use common MS Office applications (Word/Excel/Outlook)
