We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive B2B Merchandiser to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on competition shopping, range planning, analysis, and category management to ensure our product offerings are competitive and aligned with market trends. This role requires excellent analytical skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
This role is hybrid working, with the company offices based in Silverstone, Northamptonshire
Key Responsibilities:
Competition Shopping:
* Conduct regular market research on competitor businesses to monitor their activities, pricing strategies, and product assortments.
* Analyse competitor promotions, sales events, and new product launches to identify opportunities and threats.
* Compile and present detailed reports on competitor insights and market trends to inform strategic decisions.
Range Planning:
* Develop and implement range plans that align with the company's overall product category strategy
* Collaborate with the procurement team to select and source products that meet client needs and preferences.
* Ensure a balanced and cohesive product assortment across categories, considering factors such as seasonality, trends, and sales performance.
Analysis:
* Analyse sales data, client feedback, and market trends to evaluate the performance of product ranges.
