ASSISTANT CATEGORY OFFICER (EXECUTIVE OFFICER GRADE)

ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT ROLE
WORK 1 DAY IN OFFICE AND 4 FROM HOME
As Assistant Category Officer to the Category Officer, you will provide efficient and effective administrative support to the Catering area of Procurement Services.
You will be proficient in MS Packages such as Excel, Outlook, and Word. You will be confident in the daily use of spreadsheets and databases and will conduct typing and word-processing reports. Proficiency in MS Packages including MS Excel, Outlook and Word, CRM Systems such as Oracle. You will also be experienced in Minute taking whilst attending meetings.
Key duties and responsibilities are as follows:
1. Organise and manage a team of category assistants providing a best practice procurement approach
2. Practice supervisory responsibilities for staff organised in groups or teams as necessary and will be responsible for the day-to-day management of functional activities within a designated category area.
3. Undertake research and investigation, analysis of results and devise recommendations in respect of tender documentation received.
