Operations Support Administrator
Based: Middlesbrough
Salary: £26,000 - £30,000 + package
Details:
The Operations Support role is a key administrative position that assists the Site Contracts Manager with day-to-day operational tasks and supports the efficient running of site projects.
1. Assist in the management of project documentation and ensure all necessary paperwork is completed and filed correctly by supervisors.
2. Ensure all records and documentation are properly maintained, in line with company procedures.
3. Procure site materials including paint, consumables, travel accommodation, plant, and equipment, ensuring timely availability and cost efficiency.
4. Coordinate with suppliers to source and purchase materials in accordance with project requirements and deadlines.
5. Assist with the monthly invoicing process, ensuring that all invoices are processed accurately and submitted on time.
6. Assist with project tracking, including running performance reports and providing site managers with the data needed to improve project efficiency.
7. Assist with inputting labour hours for Company and Agency workers into site projects.
8. Provide clients with requested training records and other documentation.
9. Ensure compliance with company policies, health and safety regulations, and other relevant industry standards.
10. Office-based role with occasional site visits as required (Driving licence required).
Requirements:
1. Good interpersonal skills.
2. Good understanding of Microsoft Office packages - Outlook, Word, and Excel.
3. Strong organisational and time-management skills.
4. Able to work to deadlines.
5. Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
6. Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
7. Ideally, previous experience working in a similar company (Construction/Engineering).
The successful candidate will have an excellent opportunity with a clear pathway and timescale to become a Contracts Engineer within this field.
