Job summary Watlington Medical Centre in Kings Lynn are looking for an experienced superintendent pharmacist to join our team on a full-time basis for 40 hours per week. The hours for this role are as follows; Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday 8.45am 1/2-6.30pm and Tuesday 8.45am 1.45pm, however, a job share would be considered. Main duties of the job Ensure the safe, efficient and effective delivery of all aspects of the pharmacy services, in accordance with national and local standards. Develop a high quality and timely outpatient service for patients. Fulfil the statutory responsibilities as required by the GPhC. Provide efficient management and administration of the business. Hold accountability for the ordering and management of all medicines within the pharmacy. Dispense prescription medicines to the public. Liaise with doctors about the prescriptions on site liaison and daily meeting with doctors. Counsel and advise public on the treatment of minor ailments. Advise patients of any adverse side effects of medicines or potential interaction with other medicines/treatments. Undertake medicines use reviews (MUR), and advanced services to help patients understand how their medicines work and why they have to take them.
