This post is ideal for an experienced dysphagia-trained therapist looking to develop skills with the Adult Learning Disability and Mental Health population.
You will be supported as part of this SLT team working across Tayside with opportunities for developing skills in a range of specialities including AAC, PMLD, Dementia, Dysphagia, Positive Behavioural Support and Mental Health conditions. The SLTs in both Learning Disabilities and Mental Health work within well-established multi-disciplinary teams.
* This service offers an extensive training programme to care staff in the NHS and third sector which you will be supported to take part in.
* The clinical work takes place in local community facilities, clients’ homes and workplaces.
* The department actively engages in leadership training and encourages involvement in service and clinical improvement projects within the team.
* The department has well established links with the University of Dundee who are world leaders in AAC research.
