Job Role: Criminal Justice Casework Coordinator
Salary: £24,500 per year
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Contract type: Permanent

Participation in an on-call out-of-hours rota, £100 per week when on-call

The Role:
In this role, you will collaborate closely with statutory criminal justice agencies to provide supported housing solutions for individuals transitioning from prison. The service is dedicated to empowering clients, helping them build resilience, develop essential skills, and gain independence.
As a Casework Coordinator, you will manage referrals, assess clients’ needs, and offer tailored support to help them sustain housing and achieve positive life changes. You will also be responsible for fostering productive partnerships with key agencies such as the National Probation Service, the Police, and other criminal justice and support services to ensure comprehensive support.
Responsibilities include:
Progress and track referrals made into the service and outcomes for service users moving on from the service
Implement and monitor client support plans and risk assessments
Give clients advice, and information and provide an enabling service so they can be signposted to, and access appropriate services
Ensure all new clients moving into the service understand their rights and responsibilities and the conditions of their license agreement.
Maintain complete, accurate and up-to-date client records using our client record system
Qualifications / Requirements:
Experience working with vulnerable adults and/or people with complex needs
Understanding of the causes of offending, homelessness and social exclusion and approaches which seek to address these
Valid driver's license and access to a car for business purposes
