Role Purpose This role supports the financial team by contributing to the seamless integration and analysis of the club's operations, playing a key part in maintaining the integrity of financial data and reporting. Main Areas of Responsibility Ensuring accurate and timely processing of journals, processing supplier invoices, processing expenses & credit card requests and reconciling balance sheets. To ensure the banking of cash, credit cards and cheques is performed on a daily basis. To ensure a detailed check of the daily business is performed and any discrepancies are resolved with the appropriate department. Support other departments to gather and verify revenue & cost information, addressing any discrepancies and build relationships. The completion of petty cash journals. Assist the Management Accountant in creating financial reports as required. Perform a variety of accounting reconciliations including group intercompany accounts. Support with system transition, and ensure all transaction have the appropriate purchase order in place and are authorised. Ensure all policies are adhered to. General Responsibilities Be an ambassador of the Group, providing excellent customer service at all times whilst portraying a professional image. Perform other duties as required, which are considered relevant to the post and to the objectives of the Group as identified by the CFO. Treat all colleagues as customers ensuring respectful, positive outcomes across all communications.
