Summary The Unit LNA provides supportive bedside nursing care to patients as well as related non-professional services under the direct supervision of a registered nurse. Serving as part of the team, the Unit LNA also performs basic administrative and clerical activities to support the operations and general workflow of the unit(s) to which they are assigned. Minimum Education High School Graduate or Equivalent, or evidence of graduation within one year, required. Minimum Work Experience Previous hospital or nursing home LNA experience, preferred. Previous secretarial or administrative experience preferred. Required Licenses/Certifications Current Vermont State License. BLS Certification through American Heart Association. Unit-specific certifications as required (ex. CRAT) per specific department operational framework. Within 12 months of hire. Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities Ability to report patient care observations, deviations from patient’s plan of care and other pertinent information under the direct supervision of the Registered Nurse. Ability to assist with moving or lifting patients and equipment. Demonstrated moderate knowledge of medical terminology. Demonstrated moderate knowledge of basic computer skills. Pay Range $18.16 - $26.97
