This is an exciting role for a talented AD to join a growing, ambitious agency with an impressive client portfolio. As an AD, you will plan public relations activity and develop strategies for a range of clients. From supporting new business and client pitching with innovative, creative proposals to executing them with exemplary implementation skills, the AD will also follow up with evaluation and deep data analysis. This role requires outstanding project management skills, commercial nous, and impressive creative flair. Excellent interpersonal skills are required to develop client relationships and act as senior counsel to the wider business.
Overall, the position holder will:
1. Lead the day-to-day management of client accounts, ensuring clients are receiving the highest individual attention and ensuring that we deliver, as a team, projects on time, on budget, and on brief.
2. Oversee the development of each account and increase the volume of work when appropriate.
3. Spot and develop opportunities with clients, turning projects into accounts and flagging opportunities for cross-selling of services.
4. Maintain up-to-date understanding of spend on projects to provide accurate feedback on the sales sheet.
5. Work alongside partners to manage the client team and mentor junior members, communicating any changes in business strategy, direction, or policies quickly and confidently.
6. Present PR strategies alongside the senior management team.
7. Actively seek new business opportunities, bringing them to the attention of the senior team to meet commercial KPIs.
