If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join the Community Hospital Administration Team.
We are seeking a highly motivated and organised individual to join our administration team across all Community Hospitals. As an Administration Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the efficient functioning of our community healthcare facilities. You will work closely with a dedicated team to ensure seamless operations, contributing to the overall success of our mission to provide exceptional administration support to our community.
Please Note: As part of this role, you will be required to travel to different sites. This could sometimes be at short notice to provide cover where needed.
Main duties of the job
The successful individual will be motivated and enjoy working in a challenging and busy environment providing a comprehensive administration service.
You will need to have excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively deal with a diverse range of people in a sensitive and confidential manner. You will have good organisational and IT skills including Microsoft Office.
You will be a confident individual who is able to use their own initiative to manage competing and conflicting demands.

Qualifications
* Educated to GCSE level or equivalent.
Communication
* Able to communicate effectively with different audiences, including patients, their relatives and other staff.
Experience
* Proven experience of working in an office environment.
* Previous NHS experience or equivalent.
The postholder will have access to vulnerable people in the course of their normal duties and as such this post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (Amendment) (England and Wales) Order 2020 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service to check for any previous criminal convictions.
