About the role
We are currently looking to recruit an experienced and organised technician for our H2B Hair and Beauty training commercial spa and salons, which is based in Exeter.
This is an exciting opportunity for anyone wishing to broaden their experience in a dynamic and friendly work environment. The role focuses on supporting the teaching, learning and assessment activities that take place within our salons and spa. Day to day tasks will include providing exceptional technical support and guidance to staff and students within the faculty. Preparing equipment, products and teaching materials for use in the delivery of the curriculum. Your role will involve a range of administrative tasks such as stock control and purchasing, completing risk assessments along with health and safety checks of equipment. You will be working with a highly skilled and dedicated team that deliver outstanding teaching and training across all levels of hair and beauty curriculums.

About you
For this position you should be committed with a positive and approachable attitude to ensure learners are provided with an outstanding commercial facility. You should have a passionate and pro-active approach in maintaining excellence within our hair and beauty salons, with a good knowledge of the industry.
You should hold a relevant industry qualification and have high professional standards.
You should have excellent verbal, IT and written communication skills and the ability to work on your own initiative and as part of our team. As the ideal candidate you will be able to support our learners and staff from your experience and professional industry links.

Our Hospitality, Hair and Beauty faculty is based within the Laurence Building at our Hele Road campus, close to the heart of the city centre, just a few minutes’ walk from Exeter St. David’s and Exeter Central Stations. We have exceptional commercial facilities to include the @34 AA rosette Restaurant, three commercial hairdressing/barbering salons, four beauty therapy clinics and a Spa.
