Bilfinger are looking for a Lead HSE Advisor to work closely with our existing onsite team. The focus of this role is to guide the onsite HSE team, ensuring safety, compliance and continuous improvement.
Main Responsibilities
- Provide coaching, mentoring and line management to safety advisors within the team
- Work closely with the existing Lead to provide strategic guidance to the HSE team
- Work with the business' Regional HSE to ensure the project is in line with regional health and safety goals
- Provide support and guidance to project managers on all matters relating to HSE
- Ensure all work activities are carried out in a compliance with company and site safety procedures, maintaining the highest standards of health and safety at all times
- Maintaining and promoting a Safety First culture, delivering TBT's and safety related training as required
- Tracking and reporting of HSE in line with regional requirements
- Highlight concerns and areas for improvement, developing initiatives to drive continuous improvement on the project
- Planning and conducting HSE Audits, ensuring timely closeout of any actions
- Promoting safe card submission within the team, monitoring all cards submitted and following up actions with the relevant managers
- Ensure excellent communication with project management, Bilfinger wider region and client HSE representatives
- Provide HSE support to the region as required, including travel to other sites within the region.
EXperience and Qualifications
Essential
- NEBOSH and IOSH Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years in a Senior HSE role
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Construction industry experience
- Experience in Nuclear, Oil and Gas or other heavily regulated industry
- Must be able to obtain Security Clearance
