You will also develop skills in a wide range of core services, including environmental chemistry, wastewater collection and treatment, nature-based solutions, river and coastal modelling, climate change assessments and catchment management, all whilst leveraging your digital skills and numerical analysis abilities. Finally, you'll gain experience in project management principles, working within budget and scope, and liaising with other professional sub-contractors.
About you
At Stantec, we value your potential over past experience. Along with a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in an environmental-related degree, you will also have a minimum A Level qualification (or equivalent) in Maths and will be:
* A collaborator: You’ll love to work effectively with lots of different people at different levels, all inputting their part towards a shared goal.
* An adapter: Able to remain calm in new situations, comfortably switching between a variety of dynamic and exciting tasks.
* A planner: Organizing and managing your own activities, dealing effectively with multiple priorities with a structured approach.
* A striver: Exhibiting ownership, consistently delivering on tasks and objectives. You’ll be motivated and proactive in your tasks, having the desire to make a real difference.
* A multi-tasker: Thinking about more than one task at a time, while still having an eye for detail.
* A problem-solver: You’ll love to give your thoughts based on what you see, being unafraid to challenge conventional thinking.
Please note, we ask our graduates to come into the office 4 days per week, to ensure that you receive sufficient time with your team and receive the appropriate level of support.
What we can offer you:
* A competitive salary
* Private medical insurance
* A range of benefits, including holiday buy and sell, group income protection and life assurance
* Permanent employment contract to demonstrate our commitment to your long-term career at Stantec
