You will be the SME for the identity platform architecture products, this will involve:
1. Design and Develop CIAM Solutions: Create and implement CIAM architecture solutions that align with business needs and enterprise standards.
2. Technical Leadership: Serve as the lead technical point of contact for CIAM, providing expertise on authentication, authorization, and identity management.
3. Integration and Implementation: Work closely with development teams to design and build API integrations authenticated by the identity management platform.
4. Compliance and Security: Ensure CIAM solutions comply with policies, standards, and regulatory requirements.
5. Collaboration: Partner with EAs & other departments to understand their IAM requirements and deliver solutions that support business strategies.
6. Lifecycle Management: Oversee the provisioning, de-provisioning, and review of user access.
Architecture
1. Strategy: Ensure secure customer identities and set architectural direction.
2. Assessment: Evaluate current architecture for business goals.
3. Design: Create simple, reusable architectures and 5-year roadmaps. Design strategic solutions with identity providers using Azure B2C.
4. Vendor Management: Select and manage IT vendors.
5. Enterprise Architecture: Support business case development and stay updated on tech trends.
Strategy
1. Alignment: Support engineering strategy and align with Platform Director’s Vision.
2. Innovation: Investigate new technologies and promote IT strategy.
Leadership
1. Vision: Maximize business benefits and keep peers informed.
2. Collaboration: Work with Engineers, Solution and Enterprise Architects in the customer access and Identity domain, and innovation communities.

1. Policies: Define architecture policies and ensure adherence to standards.
2. Compliance: Maintain legal, regulatory, and security compliance.
3. Consistency: Ensure enterprise standards and align architecture with budgets.
Stakeholders
1. Collaboration: Engage with DevOps and SecOps teams within BT.
Skills and Experiences
For this role you will have current experience as a Solution Architect within the Identity and Access Management domain, alongside a strong exposure to the SDLC particularly Azure B2C experience.
Additionally we are looking for the following experiences:
* Experience as an ID Solution Architect, including working as an Enterprise Architect in a large corporate organisation. Evidence of leading material business change through Enterprise Architecture.
* 5+ years of experience in Identity and Access Management, including customer identity management.
* Proven success with designing IAM architecture frameworks using platforms such as Okta, Ping Identity, or similar.
* Strong development and application security background.
* Azure B2C experience – development experience.
* B2B & B2C Identity customer exposure.
* 4+ years as a Solution Architect.
* Experience in Identity Solution Architecture – Authentication, Authorization, Okta, Sailpoint, Savient, etc.
* Ideally, a background in SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle).
* Exposure to B2B & B2C identity customer solutions.
* Experience of producing business cases, gaining approval from senior stakeholders and ensuring delivery of business benefits.
