Salary: £76.92 - £95.68 per day (Depending on experience)

About The Role:
As a Disability Support Worker, you’ll work closely with students who require additional assistance due to physical, developmental, or learning challenges. This role involves building trusting relationships and helping students access a full, enriching educational experience. In this role, you will support students’ physical, emotional and social needs, providing a safe and inclusive environment that enables them to thrive.
Responsibilities of the Disability Support Worker:
* Providing one-on-one and group support to students with disabilities.
* Assisting with daily tasks, ensuring students’ comfort and safety.
* Collaborating with teaching staff to create a supportive classroom environment.
* Encouraging students’ independence and confidence through tailored guidance.
* Implementing behaviour management strategies as required.
Disability Support Worker Job Requirements:
* Previous experience as a Disability Support Worker, or a similar support role in a classroom or school setting, is preferred.
* Understanding of various Special Education Needs conditions, including physical disabilities, SEND etc.
* Patience, adaptability and a genuine commitment to supporting students' growth.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
* Have an updated CV (covering the last ten years barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one).
