Do you have previous electrical or instrumentation maintenance experience gained at an industrial production or processing plant, or in an offshore environment, and want to join a thriving company in the Renewable Energy business at one of their flagship sites where you can gain specialist and highly valuable experience in the bioenergy sector?
This company specialises in the production of biogas through the process of anaerobic digestion at a number of sites across Scotland and have been continuously expanding throughout recent years largely due to their success in partnering with major distilleries. They have a number of new sites in planning, construction and commissioning phases across Scotland and are also beginning to move into other areas of Renewable Energy supported by the recent establishment of offices in England.
In this role you will be working closely alongside the Maintenance Team Leader to deliver planned and reactive maintenance as well as fault finding and inspections across this industrial process plant, mainly focusing on rotating equipment such as pumps, motors, generators as well as pipework. You will also be supporting with new installations, modifications and other projects where necessary.
The ideal candidate will possess an engineering qualification at HNC level or above and will have previous experience working in a production or process plant setting where they have been involved with electrical or instrumentation maintenance, fault finding and inspections.

The role:
* Carrying out electrical & instrumentation maintenance, fault finding and inspections at an industrial-scale Biogas plant
* Looking after primarily rotating equipment such as Pumps, Motors and Generators
*Occasionally responding to time-critical callouts if necessary
* Supporting with ongoing and new project works modifications, new plant commissioning etc.
The person:
* Educated to at least HNC/HND level in relevant engineering discipline or time-served
* Previous electrical maintenance experience gained in an industrial/production/process plant
* Good understanding of & experience with rotating equipment such as Pumps & Motors (desirable)
