Our Life Safety and Security engineering team is at the heart of our business. Multi-skilled across multiple technologies and product ranges, our engineers possess a wide range of knowledge built up over many years. Customer service oriented and driven to deliver the very best levels of engineering, our engineers take pride in their daily work.
This role will include a programme of mentored training and development to assist the individual as required, but also with a view to future progression and succession planning.
Responsibilities
1. Install/Commission/Servicing of our wide range of field equipment including Fire and Intruder Alarm systems, CCTV, Access Control, Audio Visual, Public address & Voice Alarm systems.
2. Retrofit upgrades/extensions to existing systems as part of remedial works packages.
3. Provide high levels of customer service.
4. Understand site plans to allow installs to take place based on site survey documentation.
5. Reactive call outs to site, aiming to provide a first-time fix.
6. Provide on-site technical support and solutions to customers during both reactive and planned visits.
7. Complete documentation in line with company standards.
8. Work within strict H&S guidelines.
9. Work as part of a 24/7 on-call rota.
10. Advise customers on the latest products and services to improve efficiency.
Package:
1. Salary: £35 - £40k basic DOE plus OTE.
2. Vehicle: Car or Van (can be used for private use).
3. Hours of work: 8 hour day Mon to Fri, generally 8am to 4:30pm or 8:30am to 5pm. Our support team rarely ever works away, and are typically home every night.
4. Holiday: 25 days holiday + public holidays.

9. Where you have lapsed ECS or H&S accreditation (IPAF, IPAF Harness, PASMA, Asbestos Awareness) we will look to get engineers up to a minimum mandatory training level.
