Job summary Primary Care mental health Nurses work closely with the GP practice staff, their TEWV colleagues, other agencies and first contact staff. Candidates must have 18 months post qualifying experience including sign off of appropriate preceptorship or competency framework. The post holder will be an experienced mental health nurse, responsible for short-term treatment of patients referred to you in GP setting.s Ideally you will have skills in delivery of the front end interventions to aid patients stay within a primary care setting. Ideally, you will be a non medical prescriber however this training is available.
