In this role you will be responsible for the development, management, and promotion of the companys product portfolio across direct and distributed markets. To achieve the companys sales, profit, and market share objectives. Direct line management of 4, with the potential for team growth as the business grows. Key Responsibilities: Achieve agreed profit, sales and market share objectives. Develop and implement global marketing plan. Set and manage marketing budget. Develop and implement clear product strategies, which are aligned and adapted to the regional markets. Understand market, competitor, and clinical trends across all product groups, in each of the key markets. Creation and submission of a quarterly marketing insights paper detailing the above, along with recommendations. Regular, complex analysis of sales and marketing data, including clinical studies. Develop KOL network, to fully understand patient and clinician requirements, to support both existing products and the development of new products. Liaise with clinical associations and teaching hospitals on usage of the companys products and associated guidelines. Work with principals to understand current and future uses of products, to devise current and future market access strategies. Lead and effectively manage a team of Portfolio Marketeers and Clinical Specialists, using Clear Review, SMART objectives, and personal development plans to develop and retain talent. Creation of marketing collaterals and training materials, which are aligned and adapted to the central product strategies and specific to regional markets. Work with the Global Sales and Marketing Director and Portfolio Development Manager to identify, select and launch new distribution opportunities. Work collaboratively with the product management team to develop and deliver internal and external training and education programs. Work collaboratively with the regulatory team to meet all MDR requirements for our technical files. This is a flexible home working, UK based role with a requirement to be in Worcester offices a minimum of once per week. Occasional domestic travel around UK required. Qualifications University degree or equivalent. Marketing Degree or professional qualification in marketing or related subject. Person experience required Demonstrable Marketing Management experience gained in medical devices. Proven experience of effective people management and leading a high performing marketing team. Able to demonstrate excellent understanding of the marketing processes and product life cycle. Able to demonstrate excellent understanding of MDR and the associated requirements of the Marketing team. Strong analytical skills and the ability to demonstrate clear strategic thinking. High level of business acumen. Effective people manager with strong influencing skills. Cultural awareness with ability to work in diverse environments. Excellent communication skills, verbal, written and presentation. Creative and experienced with briefing external agencies. Ability to build effective relationships at senior levels internally, with customers and business partners. Project management and the ability to drive projects in an organised and methodical manner. Results oriented; ability to work to targets; strong team player. Strong drive to add value, self-motivated, flexible with enthusiastic approach.
