What's the role and what will you be doing?
This job will be working as part of one of our Pensions Administration teams providing comprehensive administrative support.
What skills, experience and qualities do you need for this position?
The position requires a well-organised, personable individual, ideally with some experience of working in a busy office environment who can work using their own initiative as well as part of a team. The ability to work to tight deadlines and deliver in accordance with either internal or client service level agreements is a must. They should be conscientious, reliable, and efficient and display a willingness to learn and help. Accuracy, attention to detail and flexibility are very important attributes.
* Monitoring the team's work received (via post, email, website and phone calls) and creating the required cases on the administration workflow system. This will include allocating work to the team and working alongside the team leader, and others, to provide regular updates on the current state of all work in progress and outstanding work.
* Support with bulk print and mailout exercises in accordance with internal deadlines. Take responsibility for the planning and organisation as well as the reconciliation with all exercises.
* Assisting the Pensions Administration team in the production or amendment of written or visual material (such as letters, trustee meeting packs, reports, memos and presentations) to LCP’s quality standards using in-house templates and adhering to house-style rules.
* Updating of member records on the Pension Administration system and Member Portal. Creating correspondence with agreed member updates such as change of address, surnames, title, forenames, date of birth, date of marriage and expression of wishes in line with service level agreements.
* Administration and ownership of ad hoc tasks such as certificate returns, member Identification forms, banking and producing member website registration codes in accordance with service level agreements.
* Answering telephones, creating cases or taking messages and passing them to the appropriate team member. May also be required to perform security checks and request or check information by telephone in connection with an individual case.
* Processing of any unidentified post, returned post and reporting appropriately in accordance with GDPR.
* Adhere to a clear desk policy and keep all client and filing areas tidy and secure, sharing responsibility of locking the filing cupboards and drawers each evening.
* Adhere to the LCP working from home policy to ensure our sensitive data is protected.
