You will carry out daily safety and cleaning checks of the vehicle and report any issues to the home manager. You will interact with our residents on a daily basis - so youll be friendly, caring and kind whilst respecting our residents dignity at all times. In addition a s our Lifestyle Assistant you will help plan and organise a whole variety of activities for our residents to create a fun and interesting environment for them. You will also offer comfort and company on a one-to-one basis for any residents unable to undertake the activities. Heres some other important things you need to know: You must have a full, clean drivers licence and clean criminal record you will be driving a car and a minibus and so will need to provide documentary evidence of D1 on your licence Youll complete all relevant paperwork and fill in log sheets as required on a daily basis. You must be alert at all times to our residents physical and mental well being Organise and accompany Residents, where possible, to off-site activities, which may occasionally take place out of normal working hours Understand and ensure the implementation of the Care Homes Health and Safety policy, and Emergency and Fire procedures.
