We are looking for a Junior Recruitment Consultant to join our team at our office that is easily commutable from Lichfield and Tamworth.
You will need to be a strong team player with excellent administration skills and demonstrate the ability to multi-task in this fast-paced environment.
You will be working and supporting both Permanent Recruitment and Contracting desk sourcing the right talent for clients and keeping active candidates up to date with new vacancies.
Specialising in the Engineering sector you will receive full training to become an expert in the industry!
Key Responsibilities for a Junior Recruitment Consultant
1. Sourcing and shortlisting candidates through job boards, LinkedIn
2. Building and maintaining strong relationships with candidates
3. Supporting senior consultants in managing the full recruitment cycle from start to finish
4. Arranging initial candidate calls
5. Preparing job descriptions, posting job ads, and managing applications
6. Achieving and exceeding recruitment targets
7. Developing a solid understanding of client industries and job roles
Skills and Experience for a Junior Recruitment Consultant
1. A passion for recruitment and helping people find their ideal role
2. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
3. Ability to work under pressure and meet targets
4. Self-driven with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn
5. Excellent organizational skills with a keen eye for detail
6. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
7. Sales or customer service experience is a plus, but not essential
Benefits of a Junior Recruitment Consultant
1. Salary £23,000 - £25,000 DOE
2. Excellent Commission Structure
3. 25 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays
4. Monday - Friday (40 hours per week)
