BACKGROUND:

Our ‘Millions’ brand celebrated its 30th birthday in 2021 which is well placed in market beside our other branded product in Buchanan’s, All Rounders, Gibbs, Hawick Balls and yes smile our Fudgy Wudgy’s.
* Our estate here in Greenock, Scotland is where the majority of our production, warehousing and offices are based. There is constant investment in machinery and the plant where we are always striving to grow and delight customers worldwide.

THE ROLE:
* A valued member of our Direct Sales team representing our day-to-day relationship with our customers in the Highlands of Scotland and Cornwall.
* The Tele Account Manager will be primarily based in the office, with occasion face to face visits. Responsible for a defined territory(s) and established customer base.
* Capturing Orders from an established account base via outbound whilst proactively upselling to ensure customers get full benefit of supply from Golden Casket.
* Develop relationships with defined territory(s) to increase range and ensure availability.
* Developing new accounts from new business enquiries.
* Engaging clients in demonstrations of products and needs based conversations over the phone.
KEY OUTPUTS:
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written is critical.
* Execute and agree sales plans with customers.
* Ensure sales performance is tracking the annual business plan, including promotions, trade marketing activity and other sales driving initiatives.
* Analyse product portfolio & build sustainable distribution, sales & profitability of existing and NPD lines within the territory and customers therein.
* Communicate brand/product presentations into pitches to successfully introduce new products / gain incremental distribution with customers.
* Work with Marketing, Finance and Procurement departments to develop and implement strategies for new products.
* Work with marketing team and merchandising colleague to activate a BTL brand strategy to ‘win in store’ and ‘online.’
SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES:
* Experience in a Tele Account Management environment or similar.
* The Account Manager should be articulate, outgoing with a passion for customer service.
* Good relationship building and structured sales skills are essential.
* Strong written and verbal communication alongside an excellent telephone manner.
* Food and Drink experience is advantageous, but not essential.
* It is essential that the Account Manager is familiar with using Microsoft products (Excel).
* Interest and knowledge of digital and social media to aid customer experience.
