Stock Controller

Salary: £27,000 - £29,000 per year
Our client is a leading specialist in the manufacturing sector and is currently seeking a Procurement Assistant to join their team during a dynamic growth phase.
What You’ll Do:
Help raise and process purchase orders for materials.
Keep stock levels updated and ensure materials are available when needed.
Chase up deliveries and keep track of lead times.
Organise and maintain stores/stock areas.
Work closely with the Production Manager to keep things running smoothly.
Enter accurate data into our stock control system.
Communicate with suppliers and build good working relationships.
Assist with checking and booking in goods as they arrive.
Keep an eye on stock levels and flag up any shortages.What We’re Looking For:
Some experience working in a stores, stock control or admin role.
Good attention to detail and organised approach.
Comfortable using Microsoft Word and Excel.
Confident inputting data into systems (training provided).
A team player who can also work independently.
Friendly, professional communication skills.
Willing to learn and get involved in day-to-day stock and materials tasks
