I’m an experienced PropTech founder with a couple of successful exits, now exploring a new venture.
I’m especially interested in how technology can transform the leasehold and Right to Manage landscape in the UK.
With nearly 5 million leasehold properties, there’s a huge opportunity to create a platform that’s affordable, transparent, and easy for leaseholders to use. Despite the scale of this market, there has been virtually no tech innovation, leaving property management an incredibly manual process for both agents and leaseholders attempting self-management. My vision is to combine technology and automation to reduce reliance on costly managing agents, putting greater control directly into the hands of leaseholders.
I’m looking for a technical co-founder to help develop an MVP that we can test, refine, and grow. This role offers the chance to shape the technology strategy and bring a product to life from day one.
Key Attributes
1. PropTech, FinTech, or LegalTech Experience: Familiar with regulated industries, with a strong focus on compliance, security, and user-friendly design.
2. MVP-Focused Development: Skilled at rapidly turning concepts into MVPs with an agile, resourceful approach.
3. Technical Leadership in Early-Stage Startups: Proven ability to make strategic technology decisions and guide a product through early growth.
4. Product Strategy Partner: Eager to collaborate on the vision and align technology with user needs, focusing on a simple, effective solution.
Core Skills
1. Full-Stack Development: Proficiency in secure, scalable web applications, ideally with modern frameworks (e.g., Node.js, Python, or JavaScript frameworks like React).
2. Cloud Infrastructure & DevOps: Experience with AWS, Azure, or similar platforms for scalable architecture and DevOps practices.
3. AI & Automation (Desirable): Familiarity with AI-driven tools for predictive analytics, compliance automation, or workflow optimisation.
Nice to Have
1. Experience in Regulated Sectors: Knowledge of compliance within UK property, finance, or legal industries.
2. User-Centric Design Mindset: Ability to create intuitive experiences, especially for users unfamiliar with tech-driven solutions.
If this sounds interesting, it would be great to speak.
