Previous experience in a similar role and a qualification in programming or similar would be advantageous, however anyone with a keen interest and previous experience in front office/ reservations will be considered. This is a unique opportunity to join our Revenue & Distribution Team as we embark on a transformation journey to join our family of hotels. Reporting to the Assistant Distribution Manager, the Distribution Assistant will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day needs of the distribution function for all hotels in the portfolio; ensuring all systems are functioning at optimal levels to support the group, and swiftly troubleshooting and solving any issues that may arise. Key Duties will include: Responsible for rate loading in all integrated systems to ensure all information entered in is accurate. Configuration of all rates/room types/promotions/allocation blocks /packages /availability /closeouts in all systems such as (but not limited to), Opera, Ihotelier and Travelclick. Ensure true representation on all channels in respect of rates, restrictions, policies and hotels content. Support with connectivity and delivery from OTA marketing campaigns well in advance in order to boost hotel's performance. Monitor website and all digital systems to ensure they are fully operational, identify and deal with general functional issues/queries for all digital systems. What we'd like from you Previous experience working in a hotel front office/reservations role. Proficiency in PMS e.g. OPERA is essential. Knowledge of a Channel Manager or GDS system (desirable). Genuine interest in the intricacies of systems and a desire to understand how they work. Eagerness to learn and develop. Able to communicate effectively.
