Are you a Design Manager with experience of working on civil major infrastructure projects?
Do you have strong experience managing the design of heavy civils such as bridges and highways?
Location: West London - Hybrid
Rate: Dependant on experience - outside IR35
Contract length: Initial 9 months with potential of several years
This is a great opportunity to work on one of the biggest substation builds in the UK. My client is a design consultancy who have taken on the civil packages of this £300mill + power project. They will be working on earthworks, bridges and entry roads as well as the civil packages of the substation itself.
Responsibilities:
1. Work with the main contractor and help with client relationships.
2. Manage documentation schedules and filing.
3. Attend weekly meetings.
4. Look after the program and raise early warnings.
In an ideal world, the candidate will come from a designer background and would have worked for a main contractor in the past as they will be able to understand the client's mentality.
Anyone that has worked on National Grid projects and also had interface with Network Rail would be highly sought after, as well as having experience working with reinforced concrete structures.
This role will be hybrid with 3 days in the office (South West London), with one of these days being on site (Heathrow) and the other 2 being home working. #J-18808-Ljbffr
