Our client, a reputable organisation in the HTP sector, is currently seeking an experienced Interim Director to oversee and manage key operations within the Waste Management and Highway disciplines. This is an exciting contract opportunity for a seasoned professional to make a significant impact.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Overseeing domestic and commercial waste operations
2. Leading strategic waste initiatives, including Waste PFI contract management
3. Managing street cleansing activities to ensure high standards of public cleanliness
4. Maintaining public rights of way and ensuring accessibility
5. Supervising highways infrastructure projects and ensuring timely completion
6. Overseeing transport services, including fleet maintenance and passenger transport management
7. Managing grounds maintenance and countryside management
8. Implementing effective flood risk management strategies
Job Requirements:
1. Extensive experience in waste management and highway operations
2. Strong leadership skills with a strategic mindset
