We are looking to appoint a caring and enthusiastic person to support children in Year 2. The successful candidate must be able to support the class teacher in addition to working with individuals and small groups of children. Through doing this they will assist children with their learning, enabling them to achieve the work set by the class teacher and deliver intervention and support programmes. Experience of working in a school is desirable but not essential as support and training will be put in place when appointed. In addition to class-based support, you would be required to lead after-school boosters and homework sessions for small groups of children in Years 3 - 6.
