We are looking for an IT Service Desk Team Leader to join a forward thinking, innovative Managed Service Provider (MSP) in Sheffield. Responsibilities:
1. Lead and mentor the helpdesk team, ensuring efficient issue resolution
2. Act as an escalation point for complex technical issues
3. Oversee daily operations of the helpdesk and maintain SLAs
4. Provide hands-on technical support both remotely and onsite when required
5. Manage ticketing systems and drive process improvements
6. Assist with onboarding new clients and implementing IT solutions
7. Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with IT policies
Requirements:
1. Experience in an MSP environment is essential
2. Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Microsoft 365, and Entra ID
3. Experience with networking technologies (firewalls, switches, VPNs)
4. Familiarity with virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V)
5. Excellent problem-solving and customer service skills
6. Previous experience leading or mentoring a team is a plus
