Transnational education (TNE) is a strategic priority for the University of Central Lancashire and we have been building successful collaborative partnerships globally for over 30 years. Following sustained growth of our existing TNE collaborations and recent new partnership development, our vibrant International Partnerships team is growing. We are now seeking to appoint a results-oriented Head of International Partnerships to support the maintenance and growth of our current TNE collaborations and development of new TNE partnerships aligned to the University's strategy.
Reporting to the Director of International Partnerships, the post holder will play a key role in driving significant growth in the University’s Transnational Education (TNE) partner network, aligned with robust risk-management strategies and attainment of all quality-assurance standards.
The Head of International Partnerships will lead on the management of the University’s existing TNE partner network, optimising opportunities for growth and identifying and bringing new TNE opportunities to fruition. Increasing Global Opportunities for the University’s U.K.-based students, including those at the University’s TNE partners, will also be a key focus of the role.
The post holder will, in collaboration with the Director of International Partnerships, lead an innovative and agile international partnerships operation, providing a high level of service to the University’s Services and Schools and working closely with senior colleagues to co-create and implement an inclusive and evolving International Partnerships strategy, in line with Sector best practice. The post holder is expected to have influence and credibility across the University, to ensure positive engagement with key stakeholders and have the political acumen to be effective at senior levels within the University.
The role will be based in the wider Recruitment and Partnerships team which sits in the External Relations service at the University: The Service comprises U.K. Recruitment and Partnerships, Communications and Events, International Recruitment, International Partnerships and Widening Participation.
Our International Partnerships team plays a critical role in supporting the University’s wider strategic priorities to establish the brand and profile of the University on an international basis, and also manages staff and student mobility and student international internships.
