Salary: NJC Grade A, £12.26 per hour Working Pattern: This is a casual position Job Purpose: The main purpose of the job is to assist in providing a caring and secure environment for children through individual and group activities. Main Duties & Responsibilities: To provide safe and creative play opportunities To ensure all toys used are in good condition and remove any that are broken or need to be repaired To set up and pack away equipment after each session Attend regular staff meetings Ensure equipment boxes are kept tidy and stocked up at all times Contribute towards the personal care of all children Work as part of a team including contributing to activity planning, team discussions and children’s development Liaise with Designated Safeguarding Officer (DSO) as appropriate Some lifting of children and resources will be required To apply for this role please submit your application online; your supporting statement should outline your suitability for the post.
