Role: Specifications Administrator
Salary: £26,000 per annum
Hours: 40 hours per week
Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday (usually 8am-4pm, some flexibility may be required)
Contract: Permanent

Job Description
Working within the NPD team to maintain and improve company specification systems on the customer portal. Ensuring specifications are accurate, up to date and compliant with industry standards. Including any administrative tasks to support the NPD team.
* Ensure specifications for new products entering the business are completed accurately – ensuring these are completed in full and in line with the critical path
* Keep on top of current specifications ensuring updates are made when needed
* Ensure external concessions are added to the system and approved in a timely manner
* Ensure Quality Attribute documents are fit for purpose against trialed products
* Ensure all New Raw Material Specs are fit for purpose and to IGC standards
* Ensure Raw Materials Specifications are all signed and up to date
* Raise and keep on top of purchase orders
* Check new product artwork
* Check packaging to ensure its legally correct and matches specifications
* Update the Navision system when needed
* Dealing with customer queries (phone, email and in person)
* Travel to customers for sign off panels ready for product launches.
* To carry out any reasonable requests as requested by line management and support the wider NPD team where necessary
Skills & Experience
Essential:
* Attention to detail
* Literacy and numeracy
* PC skills
* Ability to prioritise work through own initiative
* Be able to work within a team
* Full driving license
Desirable:
* Knowledge of retailer-based specification systems
* Internal Audit trained
