Our Front Office team is currently seeking to recruit a Full-Time Front Office Manager (39 Hours) to join their professional, highly skilled team. Must have availability evenings and weekends.
Responsible to: Revenue & Reservations Manager
Purpose of Job: To promote a positive image of the Hotel to both customers and colleagues and to ensure the smooth and efficient running of reception.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
* Ensure that our guests are greeted in a warm and friendly fashion and in a professional manner.
* Ensure effective implementation of all front office standard of performance procedures.
* Monitor all front office cash transactions, float and till procedures, ensuring compliance with Company policy.
* Ensure the professional operation of the front office.
* Take and confirm reservations for our guests.
* Establish strong communication with the Accommodation team.
* Deal with any customer complaints professionally and notify management.
* Oversee the smooth running of day-to-day tasks.
* Provide training to the front office team.
* Manage rosters, job chats & appraisals.
* Monitor the Guestline PMS system and review business on the books to maximise revenue.
Requirements:
* Experience as a Front Office Manager is ideal but not essential for this role.
* Proven track record of managing a team within a 3* hotel preferred.
* Fluency in written and spoken English with absolute attention to detail.
* Able to work on own initiative and as part of the overall management team.
* Available for work during weekends and holidays.
* Experience with Alkimii or another Time & Attendance System.
* Proficient with hotel booking systems and PMS; Guestline would be an advantage.
