TPS Parts Sales Executive
Who are TPS?
TPS provides independent garages and bodyshops with high-quality Genuine Parts and products necessary for servicing and repairing Volkswagen Group vehicles. TPS is part of the Volkswagen Group, which includes Audi, SEAT, ŠKODA, Volkswagen passenger cars, and Commercial Vehicles. TPS operates a national network of Centres, employing a 1,500-strong workforce and management dedicated to creating a motivating and inclusive workplace that encourages learning and development.
What will you be doing?
1. Work with the Sales Manager and team to deliver and achieve the business plan and sales objectives of the Centre.
2. Achieve personal KPIs and revenue objectives with target customers.
3. Accurately identify parts to meet customer sales requirements.
4. Utilise product promotions effectively to achieve specific targets.
5. Identify and leverage potential sales opportunities within the customer base.
6. Maintain product knowledge and awareness of competitor activity.
7. Build strong working relationships with customers through regular contact.
8. Provide high-level service to customers by understanding their requirements and responding to requests.
9. Provide timely communication to customers regarding their credit status.
10. Assist and support the TPS Centre team to ensure excellent customer service delivery.
11. Handle incoming calls and customer inquiries within KPIs using the approved greeting.
12. Ensure accurate use of all systems for searching and ordering parts.
13. Complete all required documentation accurately and promptly.
14. Deal with cash and credit card transactions in line with TPS Guidelines.
Essential Skills
A self-starter with a proven track record in building strong relationships and achieving sales targets in a B2B environment.
Confident communicator with experience in a fast-paced and/or telesales environment.
Passion for providing excellent customer service.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build strong relationships.
A team player with the drive to achieve individual and sales targets.
Excellent attention to detail and accurate record-keeping.
IT literate, preferably with a good working knowledge of MS Excel.
A passion for the automotive industry.
