This role involves supporting children with complex needs, and we are specifically seeking candidates who have proven experience in a similar setting. Key Responsibilities: Provide consistent, high-quality support to children with a range of complex needs. Work closely with the class teacher to implement and adapt individual learning plans. Support children with communication, sensory processing, emotional regulation and social development. Use your existing knowledge and skills to respond effectively to challenging behaviour and emotional needs. Liaise with SENCOs, therapists and families to ensure joined-up support. Essential Requirements: Previous experience working with children with SEND Understanding of a range of special educational needs (e.g., autism, global developmental delay, sensory processing issues). A patient, empathetic and proactive approach. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team. A Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is desirable.
