Job summary To work as an expert practitioner who is responsible for thedelivery of patient focused care, which address thecomplex and changing health and wellbeing needs of critically illpatients and their families. Main duties of the job The post holder under the leadership of the Matron has a continuing responsibility for the day-to-day operational management of the Intensive Care Unit. He/she will ensure the delivery of a high quality, evidence-based and cost-effective service for patients and their families. Combining clinical expertise with innovative, dynamic nursing leadership the post holder will manage a designated team of ICU staff in their professional and practice development.
