Customer Service Advisor
Location: Barking, Dagenham
Salary: £26,250
Working Hours
Hours: 40
Shifts: 2 week rolling shift pattern includes every other Sunday working
Start Times: 9:30am-6pm
A flexible approach to hours will be required as there may be occasions when it is necessary to work additional hours as dictated by the workload and engagement activities. This may include occasional evening, night and weekend working.
Customer Service Advisor Responsibilities:
* Providing administrative support in assisting customers when handling and responding to enquiries, emails, and telephone calls in a timely and professional manner.
* Managing product availability, co-ordinating with the warehouse for stock levels, ensuring accurate communication to customers.
* Maintaining accurate customer records on databases and spreadsheets including tracking preferences, order history, invoices, and contact information.
* Generating sales reports, analysing sales data, and preparing sales forecasts to inform decision making.
* Maintaining a thorough understanding of products offered by the company to provide accurate information, answering any questions or recommendations they may have.
* Co-ordinating with other areas of the business including marketing, financing, and logistics to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
* Supporting the technical department with updates of specifications and codes including setting up new round label templates.
* Issuing invoices and printing correct labels for customer orders to the operations production areas.
* Providing day-to-day general administrative support to other departments within the operation, including filing and organising documents.
Customer Service Advisor Requirements:
* GCSEs including English and Mathematics with grade C or Level 4 or above in both.
* NVQ level 3 in Business Administration, or equivalent qualification.
* Experience in a FMCG customer service setting but not essential.
* Experience using Microsoft Office including Excel and CRM systems.
* Previous or similar experience within an Office or similar environment.
* Previous experience in data entry and reporting.
