Title: Finance Accountant
Hours: Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm - 37.5 per week
JOB PURPOSE
The Finance Department is responsible for the External and Internal reporting for the Company in accordance with reporting deadlines. The role of the Accountant falls within the Finance Team who are responsible for the control and management of all related processes and will assist and support the department to deliver the Company’s objectives. The Accountant will report directly to the Financial Analyst and will interact with the Finance Director and Team on a daily basis.
PRIMARY DUTIES & AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
* Assist in production of monthly, quarterly and annual reporting requirements and deadlines set by Company and Group reporting.
* Assist in the Year-end Statutory audit, preparation of audit working papers, liaise with Audit Team & manage Audit requests.
* Assist in Production of Tax reporting packs for Year-end deferred and Corporation Tax.
* Assist in Monthly management Accountant process, including updating monthly comments, update and review of monthly reporting expense analysis within Team and resolve issues.
* Responsible for completion, content and accuracy of key Balance Sheet reconciliations.
* Review and posting of Payroll data on a monthly basis and monthly payroll exceptions reporting.
* Assist in the EOM Electricity rebate process – review and adjustment of monthly ER Calculation.
* Fixed Asset posting and creation of additions and disposals, run depreciation, reconciliation of all Fixed Asset Balance sheet reconciliations.
* Assist as required in Accounts payable and Accounts receivable Teams- supplier reconciliations and Customer breakdowns and Statements and resolution of queries.
* Assist in Stock reconciliations reporting on a monthly basis.

REQUIREMENTS
* Part Qualified in ACCA / CIMA / ACA.
