About the Role

You will be responsible for building the business plan for our integrated financial planning and investment management service for business opportunities associated with private family wealth and pre-and post-settlement in divorce.
In addition, you will be the lead specialist in developing and pitching for business. Qualified in your own right, you will have deep expertise as well as huge empathy in dealing with both end clients, and the key professionals that sit around them who are key to delivering optimal client outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
* Initially your focus will be on collaborating with the proposition and marketing teams to help research, design and deliver two key B2B propositions for the business: A private family wealth / Intergenerational Wealth Transfer focused proposition and a market leading divorce / family law proposition for Quilter Cheviot and Quilter Cheviot Financial Planning; this will include how we price and distribute our services to professionals.
* You will also work closely with the proposition team, and head of financial planning to ensure the B2C execution is aligned.
* In addition, you will work closely with the Head of BDMs for Advice to tailor the proposition and how we take it to the external IFA market.
* Once launched, you will act as our specialist spokesperson in the media and will seek continual improvements to our proposition so that it maintains a market leading position.
* Working with the Head of Accounts for both Law Firms and Financial Planning, you will develop and own the execution of the annual business plan identifying opportunities to expand our business relationships with professionals in this field.
* You will contribute to the development of training materials and support the delivery of the training to financial planners and investment management specialists aligned to the above propositions.
* You will bring the specialist teams together in regional and London offices to pitch for business, acting as the lead expert.
* You will fully participate in the pitch process with end clients and will work with specialist investment managers and financial planners who will ultimately run the mandates and provide ongoing advice.
* You will help develop and deliver training on divorce and family law wealth management services across the business.
Consumer Duty
This role will directly impact good customer outcomes by identifying the appropriate target market and ensuring that propositions developed and distributed meet their needs. The role holder will work with proposition teams to ensure that propositions remain aligned to and appropriate for their target markets.
Senior Managers & Certification Regime (SMCR) Roles
This is a Certification role (4) Functions requiring qualifications.
About You
* Highly collaborative with significant gravitas.
* A proven track record of establishing collaborative partnerships with lawyers and accountants in the HNW private wealth sector (private client, corporate, tax, employment, property, family/divorce and philanthropy), as a lawyer, investment manager, financial planner or in a proximate business development capacity.
* Business development experience including pitching with strong presentation and interpersonal skills.
* Numerical with an understanding of pricing within the field of private wealth and divorce (pre- and post-settlement).
* Professional qualifications for Investment management or Financial Planning as specified by the relevant regulatory authority.
