JobSummary:
We are lookingfor a confident and competent editor who will write and reviewwritten content and use multimedia effectively to ensure theappropriate content is shown to users. They will ensure content isin the right place and in the best format to help users achievetheir goals. The Content Designer will work closely with UserResearchers to ensure their content is based on evidenced userneeds. They will also work with Interaction Designers and ServiceDesigners to design endtoend experiences that meet user needs. Theywill sit within the Technology Directorate in the wider UserExperience team working on digital products and communications butmay also create content for offline channels. They will employusercentred design principles and agile methodologies to help builda user focusedculture.

present contentand insights to stakeholders teams and users to help align andinformdecisionmaking
engage with theMet Office Communications team and contribute to thecrossgovernment contentcommunity
use a range oftools and platforms to plan and manage their work
contribute toofficewide content strategies and policies and communicate thesewith the team
championusercentred design practices and represent the user in amultidisciplinaryteam
be an activemember of the UX practice to help embed and grow a usercentredculture across theorganisation
