In this role, you will provide administrative support for the Manager and staff of the ESH Department, effectively utilizing concepts, practices, and procedures related to ESH.
1. Interpret documented rules, past practices, or instructions on a semi-independent level.
2. Demonstrate a correct understanding of routine aspects of work.
3. Cultivate and maintain primarily intra-organizational contacts and limited external contacts.
4. Identify routine problems as they occur and take appropriate steps to resolve them.
5. Perform clerical work and minor administrative functions related to:
* Safety checks
* Permitting work
* Waste management, including shipments and reduction efforts
* Weekly opacity readings
* Daily satellite collection inspections
* ESH audits and documentation
* Storm water collection and shipments
1. Provide training, including initial training for new hires and refresher courses for senior associates.
2. Engage in daily interactions with floor associates.
3. Attend daily department meetings.
4. Obtain certifications such as RCRA, HAZMAT handling, DOT, Opacity, IATA (specialty hazmat shipping), HAZWOPER, ISO auditor for ISO 14001 and 45001.
5. Participate in emergency response activities.
