Key Responsibilities and Duties: Check in and strip engines/components/products in line with engineering instructions Carry out basic cleaning of components as appropriate Inspect all relevant components and identify items for scrap, rework or refit using product information and OEM manuals in accordance with company procedures and Quality Manuals Ensure all components for rebuilding are to required specifications and available within agreed turn time targets Build unit to defined standard ensuring fit, clearance and modification levels are accurate Prepare/set up unit for testing Test unit and ensure all agreed checks are actioned Carry out final checks on completed unit ensuring all paperwork is appropriately stamped Technical Knowledge and Qualifications Recognised Engineering Apprenticeship / BTEC Engineering or equivalent / Engineering Degree / Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar position / Relevant Military experience. Computer literate Other Responsibilities: Adhere to Health and Safety and environmental requirements and regulations Adhere to the Company Information and Protection Policy (IPP) Comply with statutory requirements and regulations and Company requirements Carry out any other reasonable request within current competence level Assist in the training of team members ensuring best practice standards are maintained Self-development will be the responsibility of the post-holder.
