About the role As a Pharmacist Store Manager with us you’ll be combining your excellent customer and patient care with leading, coaching, and developing a team. Your main areas of responsibility will be: You’ll lead the sales and performance of your store, whilst keeping our customers close to heart. Delivering the pharmacy strategy through providing expert care and advice Accountable for legal and ethical decisions in the pharmacy Building the capability of store teams Conducting continual review through audit, observations and risk assessment to ensure customer and patient safety is paramount Delivering a range of professional pharmacy services What you’ll need to have To be successful in this role you will have a professional, caring character and a true desire to help us change for the better. The store has just gone through a million pound refit and has BRI, HRI, Opticians in the store and has just gone live with STAC. The store is supported by two fantastic, store based pharmacists, one of which is the Chief Superintendent and the other an Independent Prescriber. There are 4 Assistant Managers, trained dispensers with a vacancy for an ACPT. This store dispenses approximately 1300 items per week This store is located at the top of the main, busy high street (much of the main shopping area is pedestrianised - you won't find any of the large indoor shopping centers common in many English towns, what you will find though, is a good selection of many well-known shops, together with a few local stores, some of them offering locally produced items. There are local and UK department stores, including Marks and Spencer, BHS, De Gruchy and Voisins. You will also find the 2 Victorian markets. The Central Market specialises in flowers, fruit and veg and meat, the other market in fish. Both have delicatessens, and the main market has a variety of other small shops. There is a multistory car park within a 5 minute walk.
