Brand new opportunity for an Application Support Engineer to join a well established and successful global company with leading automotive clients.
This role is based with the sales and support team but works very closely with Engineers, technicians and the sales team. You should enjoy working closely with the customer and have excellent communication skills. You will be providing customer support and issue resolution, delivering exceptional customer support and satisfaction.
The Application Support Engineer needs to have strong technical aptitude and troubleshooting skills, with a solid understanding of robotic systems and good C/C++ software development skills. Anyone with a familiarity with sensors, actuators, control systems, and related technologies would be ideal. The successful Application Support Engineer will have excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities to diagnose and resolve technical issues. You should be able to build and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs and expectations
The Application Support Engineer will be providing remote (telephone) and on site support. This role will involve some global travel to client site.
