About the role: This is a permanent full-time position; however, part-time arrangements may be negotiated for the right candidate. Reporting to the Quality and Compliance Manager, The Compliance Consultant provides expert guidance, analysis and modelling to support Eldercare to meet its compliance reporting obligations under the Aged Care Act, and associated principles and standards. This is a critical role in understanding changes to reporting requirements of the Aged Care Act and other relevant legislation, assessing what those changes mean for the business. This role will support Eldercare in compliance with regulatory requirements by developing reporting models and tools to prepare, monitor, analyse, and submit reporting of compliance data. To be successful in this role, you will have : Tertiary qualification in Commerce, Business, Accounting or other business related degree. High computer literacy and experience in the development of complex financial and analytical reports utilising data from variety of sources. Experience to financial systems, an understanding of basic accounting principles, and the ability to interpret financial and analyse data. Experience in working with legislation and legislative frameworks. Experience in quality and compliance auditing desirable. High-analytical skills with strong attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, necessary for communicating with people of various ages, cultures and backgrounds. Knowledge of the reporting obligations of the Australian Aged Care Act and subordinate legislation of the Act preferred. Experience in graphical reporting tools desirable (e.g. PowerBI).
